Everyone loves a good dinner out every now and again, but sometimes the effects on the wallet aren’t so great, especially when it is a family affair. However, if you are a family living in Charlotte, there are plenty of places you can go to eat where your kids can snag a free meal, thus cutting down on the cost quite a bit. Good news, right?
So, where are these magical places were kids can eat free in Charlotte you ask? Follow along, and I will lead the way. I have gathered a list of the free kid’s meals around the Queen City for six days of the week (sorry Friday!)
Monday
Cabos Mexican Restaurant. Kiddos ten and under can snag a free meal all day on Monday. They have to order something off of the kids’ menu, and there is only one free kid’s meal allowed per adult entree. Cabos is located on Carmel Road in the Carmel Commons shopping center.
Newk’s Eatery. On Monday evenings, kids can get a free meal at the Blakeney location off of Rea Road. You and the family can dine al fresco on their patio seating.
Sonny’s BBQ. Enjoy some delicious pulled pork or ribs at Sonny’s, and for every $9 adult entree ordered, you can get a free kid’s meal for your little ones 10 or under. Both the Tyvola and the Arboretum locations are participating.
Tuesday
Big Ben British Pub & Restaurant. For every adult entree ordered at Big Ben’s, a child under the age of 12 can get a meal off of the kid’s menu for free. This British pub is located on South Blvd in the Atherton Mill.
Boardwalk Billy’s Raw Bar and Ribs. Between the hours of 5 and 9 pm on Tuesdays, the kiddos can get a free kid’s menu item for each adult entree that is ordered at the Sardis Road location.
Cantina 1511. The Stonecrest location of Cantina offers a free kid’s meal dinner after 4 pm for children 12 and under. There is a limit to two kids per table, and an adult entree must be ordered for both free kid’s meals.
Wolfman Pizza. Head to the Cotswold location for a free kid’s meal per each $7 spent. This promotion is available for kiddos 12 and under.
Wednesday
JJ’s Red Hots. Both the Ballantyne and the East Blvd locations participate in the Wednesday free kid’s meal special. All day, children 12 and under can get a free kid’s meal with two free meals allowed per adult entree.
Sabor Latin Street Grill. All of the locations offer the free kid’s meal promotion! Those 12 and under can eat free with the purchase of an adult entree. Only one free meal per purchased entree allowed.
Captain Steve’s. If your family has a hankering for seafood, head to Captian Steve’s on Wednesday nights where kids 10 and under can eat for free with the purchase of an adult entree. This promotion is only for those customers that are dining in.
Thursday
Duckworth’s Grill & Taphouse. If you are in the Ballantyne area on a Thursday evening, you and your family can dine at Duckworth’s and get one free kid’s meal item per adult entree purchase. This is an all-day special offered for children 12 and under.
Pure Pizza. The Central location is giving kids 12 and under a free kid’s meal for each adult purchase of at least $10. You can take advantage of this special all day long on Thursdays!
Saturday
Kid Cashew. Who says kids can’t brunch? At Kid Cashew, those kiddos 8 and under can eat for free on Saturdays and Sunday!
Steak-n-Shake. Those dining in can enjoy a free kid’s meal item with purchase of an adult entree item for their children that are 12 and under. Beverages are not included in this deal, but you know you were getting a shake anyway…
Sunday
Crunch Bistro. Located on Rea Road by the Trader Joe’s, Crunch Bistro is offering a free kid’s meal item to children between the hours of 11 am to 8 pm. An adult entree item must be purchased to take advantage of the deal, and it is only available to dine in customers.
Jersey Mike’s Subs. Kid’s eat free all day long on Sundays with the purchase of an adult sub at the North Tryon location of Jersey Mike’s.
Libretto’s Pizzeria. All four of the Libretto’s locations are serving up a free kid’s meal to those that are under the age of 10. One free meal per each adult entree item ordered.
As you can see, going out to eat doesn’t have to be a huge expense for the family, as long as you stick to one of these places that lets your kiddos eat for free!
What did I miss? Where do you and your family snag a free kid’s meal?
