Winter is officially here, and what better way to enjoy the season than sipping a rich and creamy cup of cocoa while cozied up in a blanket reading a good book. Ah, now that is the way to spend a quality afternoon! Although I am perfectly happy with a packet of Swiss Miss, I am always down for a “real” hot chocolate recipe.

My husband is craaaaazy about Nutella! I’m not saying that I don’t love it, but he really, really loves it. This recipe gets his seal of approval with two thumb’s up.

This one is for my little guy because he loves everything cookies and cream! It generally tends to be a little too sweet for my taste, but he can’t get enough of it.

I’ve always been a big hot chocolate fan, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve outgrown the standard Swiss Miss variety and like to try new kinds. The Amaretto one sounds like a good one to start with. 🙂

These chocolate recipes look very tempting. Peanut butter hot chocolate and pink hot chocolate are my favorites from the above list.
