Our freezer is stuffed full to the brim.
I tried to clean it and organize it last week. Yet, even after throwing out a bunch of disgusting freezer-burnt items (some of them unrecognizable), we still had waaaaay too many bags of frozen vegetables to put back on the shelves.

I found four unopened bags of frozen corn. I wish I was kidding.
So in an effort to use up a little bit of those goodies, Rob made a delicious batch of homemade vegetable soup which I am calling “clean out your freezer” soup.
There really isn’t a solid recipe, just grab whatever veggies are in your freezer and toss it in the pot. You could even through in some fresh vegetables if you have something in the fridge about to spoil too. We also tossed in a can of chickpeas because I am always down for those.
In addition to the chickpeas, we had corn, peas, okra, bell pepper slices, diced onion, and a can of diced tomatoes to toss in the pot. Obviously, any combination of vegetables that you have on hand will work just as well.
I especially think cauliflower, potatoes, and green beans would be tasty. If you do add potatoes, you may need to adjust the cook time a bit.
