We like to watch the cartoon network show Adventure Time. It is a really kooky show that is half absolutely ridiculous and half genius (in my humble opinion). I’m pretty sure it is one of those cartoons that you either love love love it or just can’t even tolerate it. We fall firmly in the love love love it camp.
So for Christmas last year, my teenager bought me a small stuffed animal of the snail character from the show. The snail basically shows up somewhere in most? every? episode; he gives a quick wave and then is gone. Most episodes, you kinda have to look for him.
I can’t really remember how it started, but at some point, shortly after Christmas, we started playing a little game of hiding the snail. If you find him somewhere in the house then you’ve been “snailed”, and you have to hide him somewhere for someone else to find.
He has shown up in the silverware drawer, on the fan, in a purse/backpack, on top of the bathroom light fixture…
We make company play as well. If you find the snail it is your responsibility to hide him again, whether you live here or not 🙂
